About
I'm Bryan, a software engineer based in Singapore. I spend most of my time building backend systems and thinking about how to make software that's reliable, maintainable, and actually useful to the people who depend on it.
I got into engineering not because I loved computers from the start, but because I liked solving problems — and code turned out to be a remarkably flexible tool for that. Over the years I've worked across different stacks and domains, and I've learned that the hard parts of software are rarely the technical ones.
Outside of work I read broadly, think slowly, and write occasionally. This site is where I put some of that down.
